I have read somewhere recently that Nicholas Owen was born in Oxford.Does anyone know if this is correct and if so, where in Oxford, and any other details like where he was baptised.I know he was not a Plotter and was only linked to them via the Jesuits etc. and I do not want to go off at a tangent, but I thought that this may be the forum to obtain the info. if known.
